Google Lab has developed a new tool known as Google Trends. This tool helps webdeveloper to see keyword search volume. That is how many times an important keyword had been searched in google. At a time five keyword phrases can be checked. Google will return a comparison chart for all those keywords for two consecutive years. With the help of Google Trend it is easy to determine the popularity of a particular keyword in comparison to others.

Keyword popularity comparison for each entered keywords are also shown for City, region and languages. Marketing people can take help of this tool to find where his product or service is having high demands. They can set up their marketing strategy accordingly.

Google trends do not provide any quantifiable numbers in the comparison chart. Its simply helpful to compare keywords popularity by checking the chart.

Google declares: Google Trend is still beta and it may not be 100% accurate, it is still based on google data.
